New appointment for Mr Nqakula

3 May 2012

The Presidency is pleased to announce that Mr Charles Nqakula, Political Advisor to President Jacob Zuma, has been appointed as High Commissioner-Designate to the Republic of Mozambique.

He will assume his new duties on 1 June 2012. Amongst key responsibilities, Mr Nqakula also led the President’s Zimbabwe facilitation team and was also the President's special envoy to the Sudan.

The Presidency congratulates Mr Nqakula in his new responsibilities.
