Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane to attend South Africa-India Business Round Table

International Relations and Cooperation Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane will today, Tuesday, 12 January 2010, chair a South Africa-India Business Round Table Conference with the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in Auckland Park, Johannesburg.

The purpose of the meeting is to attract international trade and investment between the two countries as well as create an enabling business environment for growth of both South African and Indian business ahead of the commonwealth games taking place in New Delhi in October 2010.

The South African government and business delegation is looking forward to working together with India as a partner country in the October 2010 Conference with a view of promoting economic diplomacy and cooperation between the two countries.
