President Zuma accepts resignation of SABC Board member

President Jacob Zuma has, in terms of Section 15(2) of the Broadcasting Act No.4 of 1999, accepted, with effect from 13 April 2012, the resignation of Mr Clifford Motsepe as Member of the Board of Directors of the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC).


President Zuma has further expressed appreciation, on behalf of Government, for the service Mr Motsepe rendered as a member of the SABC Board of Directors. Mr Motsepe has been appointed as a Member of the Executive Council (MEC) in the Limpopo Province.

“I have no doubt Mr Motsepe will put his talents and wide experience in his new endeavours to build a better South Africa with a brighter future for all our people,” said the President.
