Minister Blade Nzimande to brief media on Budget Vote speech

Minister for Higher Education and Training, Dr Blade Nzimande invites members of the media to a Pre-Budget Vote speech briefing which will give context to, and highlights of, his Fourth Budget Vote speech in Parliament on Tuesday 24th April 2012.

Minister Nzimande is scheduled to deliver the speech in Parliament’s Old Assembly at 14h00. Some of the priorities he will cover in his speech include: the Green Paper for Post-School Education and Training, funding for higher education and training, Teacher education, the National Students Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS), Further Education and Training (FET) Colleges, Skills Development and the levy grant institutions and Adult Education and Training.

Members of the media are invited to attend the Briefing:

Date: Tuesday 24 April 2012
Venue: Imbizo Media Centre, 120 Plein Street, Parliament – Cape Town.
Time: 11h00 – 12h00
