Defence Review Committee
17 Apr 2012 The draft Defence Review 2012 was made public by the Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Ms Lindiwe Sisulu, on Thursday 12 April 2012. A number of consultation events will be conducted in the period leading up to the Minister’s Budget Vote on 17 May 2012.
The Defence Review Committee will continue with the consultation process through provincial Izimbizo and stakeholder engagements until the end of June 2012 throughout the rest of South Africa.
A briefing to the Portfolio Committee on Defence will take place tomorrow Wednesday, 18 April 2012 at the Imbizo room Townhouse Hotel from 9am until 12h45. Thereafter the media are invited to a media briefing.
