The Department of Rural Development and Land Reform: Northern Cape handover ceremony

The Department of Rural Development and Land Reform in Northern Cape cordially invites members of the media to attend a Vioolsdrift distribution of vouchers scheduled to take place at the Vioolsdrift Border on the 21 April 2012.

The Chief Director of Restitution Support Ms Cindy Damons and the MEC for Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development Mr Norman Shushu will be in attendance.

Approximately 70 households will be compensated a total of R3,825,500 million, with each household receiving a share of R54 650.00 as part of the financial compensation settlement.

The event is scheduled as follow:
Date: 21 April 2012
Venue: Vioolsdrift Border, (120km outside Springbok)
Time: 15H00 – 17H00
