The Auditor-General visit to Amathole District Municipality

The Auditor-General, Mr Terence Nombembe, will be visiting Amathole District Municipality (ADM) on Tuesday, 10 April 2012 in his attempt in ensuring that municipalities are setting the right tone and playing an active role in governance, and leadership towards improvement of the audit outcomes. 

With only two years left for the government’s drive towards clean audits especially in all spheres of government, the Auditor-General cautions that for operation clean audit 2014 to succeed, South Africa’s Mayors need to lead the movement towards the clean administration of their municipalities.

The ADM Executive Mayor Councillor Nomasikizi Konza will make a presentation to the AG as well as a commitment from her office.

The event will take place as follows:
