Trade and Industry Minister, Dr Rob Davies to launch the Industrial Policy Action Plan (IPAP) 2012-2014 and to outline strategic priorities of the manufacturing competitiveness enhancement programme
30 Mar 2012 Members of the media are invited to the launch of the Industrial Policy Action Plan (IPAP) 2011/12 – 13/14 which will be hosted by Trade and Industry Minister, Dr Rob Davies at the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC). Presentations will also be provided by DirectorGeneral Lionel October; Deputy Director-General, Nimrod Zalk and IDC Chief Executive Officer, Geoffrey Qhena. Date: 2 April 2012
Time: 10:00 – 12:00
Venue: IDC Auditorium, 19 Fredman Drive, Sandown, Sandton. (Entrance to the Auditorium is on Grayston Drive.) The briefing aims to communicate: - The significant progress achieved with respect to the implementation of IPAP;
- The framework and principles of the new Manufacturing Competitiveness Enhancement Programme; and
- A range of other key programmes including new interventions contained in the IPAP such as the Special Economic Zones (SEZ’s).
