32 year old female bust for drug dealing
5 Sep 2011 A 32 year-old female has been arrested in Nelspruit for allegedly smuggling hashish from Mozambique to South Africa. The Hawks received a tip off about the operations of the 32 year-old SA woman. One of our agents was able to obtain one kilogram after infiltrating the suspect’s trade.
Several days later, a decision was made to move in on the suspect and arrest her. When this happened, our members seized 8 kilograms of hashish, and fifty packets of cigarettes.
The hashish is worth almost R 800 thousand. The 35 year-old will appear in court on Thursday on charges of dealing in drugs and possession of illegal cigarettes.
