MEC Carlisle hands over taxi association’s Hlokomela cheque at Nyanga Taxi Rank

Robin Carlisle, the MEC for Transport and Public Works in the Western Cape has been invited by the South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO) to hand over a cheque to a production company that entertained 200 gogos on Women’s Day.

The gesture is part of SANTACO’s Hlokomela (‘We care’ in Sesotho) campaign, whose goal it is to ‘change the face of the taxi industry’.
