United Nations delegation to brief media on preparations for COP17/CMP7

A delegation from the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Secretariat (UNFCCC) and the city of Durban will host a joint press briefing to update the media on South Africa’s state of readiness for the upcoming 17th Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP17/CMP7).

The media briefing will be held as follows:

Date: 3 August 2011
Time: 12h00
Venue: Albert Luthuli ICC, Durban

The UNFCCC delegation is in the country on a five-day site visit aimed at assessing our state of readiness to host the COP17/CMP7. The COP17/CMP7 conference will take place from 28 November to 09 December 2011 in Durban.
