Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport supports World Elderly Abuse Day

On Wednesday, 15 June 2011, the Western Cape Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, will host World Elderly Abuse Awareness Day at the Bonteheuwel Civic Centre. Approximately 80 elderly with ages ranging between 60 and 90 years will be treated to a morning of fun which will include a self-defence and aerobics workshop as well as pertinent information aimed at making our world free of elder abuse.
