Minister of Communications, Hon Radhakrishna L Padayachie and Deputy Minister Obed Bapela to visit SABC Broadcast Centre at IEC
19 May 2011 The Minister of Communications, Hon Radhakrishna L Padayachie (Roy) accompanied by Deputy Minister of Communications Mr Obed Bapela, will today 19 May, pay a visit to the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) broadcast centre at the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) results centre in Tshwane at 5:00 pm. As the Minister responsible for the SABC, Minister Padayachie will personally convey government's thanks and appreciation of the sterling work done by the publlic broadcaster during the elections campaign and in beaming the results live to the millions of South Africans who went to cast their votes in the local government elections.
