Request for information: Registration on the arts, culture and heritage professional database

The Department of Arts and Culture hereby calls upon all interested parties within the sector to register their individual, group or organisation's profile on the arts, culture and heritage database.

The database will be used by the department for the following:

* public participation in the development
* implementation and monitoring of national legislation and international treaties and conventions within the arts, culture and heritage fraternity
* consultation with experts for the development of position/policy papers
* promotion of the sector nationally and internationally.

The database will cover the following areas:

* Individuals and groups: Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs), poets (imbongi), musicians, performers, writers, designers, etc.
* Experts (arts, culture and heritage sector)
* Consultants (arts, culture and heritage sector)
* Cultural practitioners (directors, producers, choreographer, etc.)
* Professionals from universities, cultural institutions, associations, etc.
* Other professions in the arts, culture and heritage sector not listed above.

Registration forms can be collected at the Department of Arts and Culture, Kingsley Building, corner Church and Beatrix Streets, Arcadia, 4th Floor.
