Launch of the results operation centre in Pretoria

You are invited by the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) to the launch of the national Results Operations Centre (ROC) in Pretoria on Wednesday, 11 May 2011 at 11h00.

The Results Operation Centre for the 2011 Municipal Elections, as with previous elections, will serve as the central management point for operational and electoral issues and a focal point for political parties, government, business leaders and the media to gather during the voting, counting and results phases of the elections.

The centre will operate 24 hours on Election Day. It will be open from 08h00 on 11 May 2011 until late in the evening of 12 May 2011, when it is expected that the majority of the election results would have been captured.

Time: 10h30 for 11h00
Venue: Tshwane Events Centre (old Pretoria Show grounds), Hall J, Gate P8 in Church Street, Pretoria West
