North West to launch Arrive Alive Campaign
13 Apr 2011 The Department of Human Settlements, Public Safety and Liaison will launch the Arrive Alive Campaign on Friday, 15 April 2011. The campaign is part of government’s efforts to promote responsible and safe driving in order to reduce the carnage on our roads. The launch will take place as follows: | Day | Time | Activities | Venue | | 15 April 2011 | 7h00 to 7h30 | Scholar patrol / visit inspection | Seweding Road | | | 8h45 to 8h50 | Arrival by MEC and Mayor | TTA | | | 8h50 to 9h00 | Premier | TTA | | | 9h00 to 9h05 | Briefing of MEC’s guests | TTA | | | 9h15 to 9h30 | Police parade inspection | TTA | | | 9h30 to 9h45 | Visit to the road block | Mandela and Vryburg Road | The Arrive Alive launch will be followed by the Global International Youth Day of volunteerism which is led by the National Youth Development Agency.
