Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD) to investigate alleged assault of civilians by Police at Catz Pyjamas

The Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD) has opened an investigation into allegations that South African Police Service (SAPS) members assaulted civilians at the Catz Pyjamas restaurant in Melville on Saturday, 26 February 2011.

The ICD calls on all victims and witnesses of the alleged assault to contact the ICD office in Johannesburg on the following telephone number: 011 220 1500.
