Premier Zille to lead march in support of the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children in Franschoek

Tomorrow, 27 November, Premier Zille will lead a march in support of the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children in Groendal, Franschoek.

The event will include inputs from a reformed perpetrator of abuse, a victim of abuse as well as the South African Police Service (SAPS) who will give details on domestic violence crime statistics.

All media are invited to attend the event.

Venue: Franschoek North (Groendal), field on the corner of Stiebeul and Le Roux Streets. (directions below)

Directions:

From the N2:
Take exit 33 for R310/Baden Powell Drive toward Macassar/Stellenbosch
Turn left at Baden Powell Dr
Turn right at Polkadraai Rd/R310
Continue to follow R310
Continue onto Adam Tas Rd
Turn right at Langstraat-Suid Rd
Continue onto Helshoogte Rd
Turn right at R45
Turn left at Le Roux Rd
Take the 2nd right onto Stiebeuel Rd

From the N1:
Just before Paarl, turn right at the turn off for R101/R45. Continue onthe R101 a kilometre
On the R101, take the 3rd left onto R45
Turn left at Le Roux
Take the 2nd right onto Stiebeuel Rd
