Correctional Services new Deputy Minister media briefing at Pollsmoor prison

Correctional Services Deputy Minister, Dr Ngoako Ramatlhodi, will brief media on the conditions of incarcerated women and to get an appreciation of the unique challenges that confront women (and their babies) behind bars. The deputy minister will go on a tour of the female section at Pollsmoor prison, where some of the incarcerated mothers live with their small babies in cells. After the tour, the deputy minister will brief the media at 13h30.
