25 Nov 2010

The government and the people of the Republic of South Africa wish to express their deepest condolences to the government and the people of the Kingdom of Cambodia with the tragic loss of life of so many people in Phnom Penh during the annual Water Festival on 22 November 2010.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the victims. We know that the resilience of the Cambodian people, which has seen them through very difficult times in the past, will help them to overcome also this loss.
