Deputy Minister of Tourism Ms Tokozile Xasa to launch the Ubuntu Exposure International Exchange Programme

The Deputy Minister of Tourism Ms Tokozile Xasa will on Tuesday, 9 November 2010 launch the Ubuntu Exposure International Exchange Programme. The National Department of Tourism in partnership with South African Youth Exchange Programme and Ubuntu institute has been able to secure placement opportunities with the Ritz Group of Hotels in the United States of America (USA) where graduates are placed at Ritz hotels.

The objective of the programme is to provide tourism graduates with World Class exposure to hotel environment in all departments and also provide students with international work experience so that they can be more marketable in the open labour market, particularly the Tourism industry.
