Media update by the South African Military Health Service (SAMHS): Deployment of medical teams to hospitals

The South African Military Health Service is currently deploying multi-disciplinary medical teams to the following 34 hospitals:

14. King Edward VIII Hospital

15. Mahatma Ghandi Memorial Hospital

16. Prince Mshiyeni Hospital

17. Stanger Hospital

Eastern Cape

18. Dora Nzinga Hospital

19. Livingstone Hospital

Limpopo

20. Van Velden Hospital

21. Polokwane Hospital

Depending on the request, a medical team may consists of doctors, nurses and emergency healthcare practitioners.

The South African Military Health Service is also deploying personnel to assist with the cleaning of the hospitals.
