Scopa to interrogate departments

The Portfolio Committee on Public Accounts (Scopa) will tomorrow hold hearings with the Departments of Sport and Recreation, Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, and Health with regard to non-compliance with the Division of Revenue Act.

Venue: Committee Room V454, fourth floor, Old Assembly
Time: 09h00 

Meanwhile, the Portfolio Committee on Defence and Military Veterans will continue with its public hearings on the Defence Amendment Bill. The Committee has invited South African National Defence Union, South African Security Forces Union and Democratic Military Union of South Africa to make presentations on the Bill. The hearings start at 9am and will be held at Committee Room V475, Fourth Floor, Old Assembly. 

Also tomorrow, the Portfolio Committee on Sport and Recreation will be briefed by the South African Coaches Association on the Development programmes post 2010 FIFA World Cup.
