North West Premier, Maureen Modiselle, will address the media on the outcomes of the provincial EXCO Lekgotla, which started this morning and ends tomorrow. Among other things, Lekgotla will be dealing with the following:

- Progress on the war on poverty
- Accelerating service delivery
- Progress and challenges relating to economic growth and development in the province
- Ensuring alignment of national priorities with provincial and local government

Lekgotla, which is being attended by the Premier, MECs, Mayors, Municipal Managers, Heads of departments and CEOs of parastatals, is expected to emerge with a programme of action which will guide the delivery programme of the provincial government for the next five years.
