Winners will receive up to R300 000 in prize money.

On the following day, 16 July 2010, there will be a Youth Conference for young people who are involved and interested in farming as a career. Young farmers will also share experiences amongst themselves and strategise as to how they can make a positive contribution to food security and the agricultural economy.
