19 Apr 2010 Question No. 1164 Mr JRB Lorimer (Democratic Alliance) to ask the Minister of Basic Education: (1) Whether any additional (a) primary and or (b) secondary schools are to be built in the Phomolong area; if not, why not; if so, (i) how many schools are to be built and (ii) when will they be completed;
(2) What is the (a) actual and (b) optimal number of learners for the (i) Phomolong Primary School and (ii) Phomolong Secondary School? Reply: 1. (a) None (b) None. No new primary or secondary schools are planned to be built in the Phomolong area. (i) Not applicable (ii) Not applicable 2. This information will used to plan for the provision of the required classrooms during the current medium term expenditure framework (MTEF) 2010/11 to 2012/13.
