- Federal Republic of Germany and Finland: Working visit, 8 to 10 May
The Deputy President will be in Germany to attend the seventh South Africa-Germany Bi-National Commission (BNC). The objective of the Deputy President’s visit to Finland is to reinvigorate the political and economic relations between the two countries in order to advance South Africa’s national priorities, enhance the African Agenda and exchange views on multilateral issues of common interest.
- Republic of Ghana: Working visit, 19 to 21 April
Deputy President Motlanthe visits Ghana within the context of consolidating the African Agenda through the enhancing and deepening of the political, economic and social relations.
