  • Advanced Diploma in Economic Policy from the University of the Western Cape, Studied Economics and Public Finance at the University of South Africa and Studied Leadership Communication at Rhodes University.

  • During her political career, Ms Tobias-Pokolo has served as Chairperson of the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Public Works from 2007 to 2009, member of the Joint Monitoring Committee on Improvement of Quality of Life and Status of Children, Youth and Disabled Persons from 2005 to 2007, Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Defence from 2005 to 2007, member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts from 2004 to 2005 and member of the African National Congress.
