Imbizo Focus Week

7 to 13 April 2008

The thirteenth national Imbizo Focus Week takes place from 7 to 13 April 2008 under the theme: Imbizo! All hands on deck for faster development (programme [PDF]). Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Premiers and Members of Executive Councils (MECs) interact closely with communities in different parts of the country.

As usual, government representatives will be listening to and engaging communities around service delivery issues and profiling government’s apex priorities. In particular, government will contribute to the campaign by communicating the national energy saving plan, share tips on how to save energy and distribute free energy saving light bulbs to the identified communities.
