Mr Solomon Lechesa Tsenoli is the Deputy Minister for Rural Development and Land Reform of the Republic of South Africa from 2011.

Mr Tsenoli attended a programme of instruction for Lawyers at Harvard University and obtained a Certificate in Public Policy Management from the University of Western Cape;
a Certificate in adult Education from University of KwaZulu-Natal; and a Certificate in Development Planning for Community Leaders from the University of the Witwatersrands.

Mr Tsenoli was a member of the following Organisations: Institutte of Local government; National Housing corporation; and Transitional National Development Trust.
He also served as a member of Joint Rent Action Committee in 1983; and as a member of Masibonesane Lamontville Youth Organisation in 1981. He was founder member of Sanco and as a member of Durban Civic Forum.
