Where do I find information on unemployment in South Africa?

The Labour Force Survey which is published quarterly by Statistics South Africa, contains information on unemployment.

Where do I find South African census records?

The last census was undertaken in 2001. Findings of the census is available from Statistics South Africa.

Where do I find updated demographic and socio-economic data  between censuses?

Statistics South Africa undertakes a national census only every ten years. To bridge the gap, the Community Survey 2007 was undertaken as a mini-census. TheGeneral Household Survey is published annually. It contains information on a variety of subjects including education, health, the labour market, dwellings, access to services and facilities, transport, and quality of life.
