The Women in Media and Environment Conference is part of South Africa's preparations for the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (28 November to 9 December 2011).

Women in media conferenceThe Deputy Minister for Performance Monitoring and Evaluation, Ms Dina Pule, in association with the Ministers for Women, Children and Persons with Disabilities, Ms Lulama Xingwana; International Relations and Cooperation, Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane; and Water and Environmental Affairs, Ms Edna Molewa, hosted the Women in Media and Environment Conference.
