Presidential pardons

15 January - 31 May 2008

Prospective applicants can apply for Presidential pardons for alleged political offences in accordance with President Thabo Mbeki's announcement in Parliament on 21 November 2007. The initial application period was from 15 January to 15 April 2008, but on 14 April, President Mbeki extended the deadline for applications to 31 May 2008.
