• Objectives

  This project aimed to address the issues of stigma by promoting:

  • seeking treatment promptly, and
  • partner notification and treatment
    
     
• Messages

  The primary slogan of the campaign is:

  • “Just the two of us".

The sub-messages are:

• High quality SABS-approved condoms are available free from clinics and other outlets.
• Using a condom consistently, protects you and the one you love from STIs and HIV/AIDS.
• Learn how to use condoms correctly.
• Untreated STIs put you and your partner at greater risk of contracting HIV/AIDS.
• Know what the symptoms of STIs are, and notify your partner of any such symptoms.
• Most STIs are treatable. If you contract an STI seek treatment immediately.
• Professional treatment is available at most public health centres.
• Treatment is free.
